GOOGLE VE03: ITERATION WORKFLOW

Last week we talked about simple shot-type iteration.

Now we’re going a little deeper.

Into some smaller changes for bigger iteration.

ITERATION TIPS:

• If you find a prompt that works

• Build a prompt structure

• Play with small elements

• Then iterate

PROMPT STRUCTURE: [establishing shot description], [subject details + environment], [energy/mood description], [environment details], [subject action description], [lighting], [style]

PROMPT: The camera glides high above the sun-soaked cliffs of Monaco, nearly at helicopter-level. [Suddenly the camera catches] a red-and-white 1980s Formula 1 car driving its way through the city circuit, a flash of polished paint and screaming power. SMALL ITERATIONS…BIG CHANGES

• You don’t need to rewrite the whole prompt

• You can change a word or 2 for big effect

• Like this example below

• Push it in different directions

• It will make your prompting with veo much easier.

One of Veo3s best features is the scene extend.

It only works with Veo2 for extending…but it’s powerful (and consistent)

1. Gen initial video

2. Select "add-to-scene"

3. Select "extend"

4. Add text prompt + generate

5. Repeat

INITIAL PROMPT: racing montage of a street race between a 1970's chevy camaro racing a 2025 lamborghini on a coastal road in California. The scene is intense action from start to finish, with shot transitions showing the cars: 1. front tracking shot of both cars 2. transition to a closeup 3. transition to rear shot of the cars driving away.

EX EXTEND PROMPT 2: The shot tracks fast trying to keep up with the 2 cars racing away from us. The camera pushes in closeup fast on the drivers side of the blue car as it speeds away from us towards the horizon.

• I’m really loving Veo3 for these small details

• Through 2 extended clips it keeps these bushes consistent
