VEO2'S CRAZY VFX + MIDJOURNEY PRODUCT DROP
All the crazy stuff
Fam,
7 days…3 corporate trainings…2 snowstorms later.
Content (from me) has been a little slow.
It’s probably a good thing.
Needed a little time to reset and play around.
Here’s what we got today:
LET’S BOOGIE…
GOOGLE VEO2: IT’S JUST WILD
I’ve found a new obsession with VEO2.
(I apologize for the fomo posts…it should be available via YT shorts very soon)
It can just do some things that the other generators can’t.
Like this random test I ran for projection mapping (it shouldn’t have worked).
(FULL VIDEO → CHECK IT OUT)
SHOULDN’T BE POSSIBLE:
I ran this experiment on every video generator.
Kling/Minimax/Runway/Pika/Sora…none really came close.
The capabilities of this tool are pretty eye-opening.
(And this all came from one prompt)
PROMPT STRUCTURE: [Shot Type/Camera Movement], [Subject + Action], [Depth of Field], [Lighting], [Color Palette], [Mood], [Key Visual Elements]
VEO2 PROMPT: The camera moves slowly along a McLaren supercar sitting in a dimly lit studio, its sleek, polished body reflecting flickering footage of vintage racing history. The glossy curves capture grainy black-and-white clips of legendary race cars speeding down the track. The reflections ripple across the car’s aerodynamic lines, distorting like memories replaying on a futuristic canvas. The dramatic lighting casts deep shadows, with rim lights subtly outlining the contours of the vehicle, adding to its aggressive presence. The atmosphere is cinematic and immersive, blending hyper-realistic automotive photography with nostalgic motorsport storytelling. There's a faint glow of static interference in the footage bridging past and future in a stunning visual composition, 35mm film.
QUICK THOUGHTS:
VEO2 likes a narrative-style prompt
More emotion + narrative seems to output better
The coherence is impressive
Wasn’t expecting to get a good result
Veo2 has a nice hold on realism
But it also has a creative streak in it
This one was a long time in the making.

VEO2: CHARACTER CONSISTENCY
Considering Veo2 is text-2-video…character consistency is hard.
So I tried my best to see what it could do.
And made a quick 80’s Wall Street scene.
HERE’S THE RESULTS → CHECK IT OUT
Quick Veo2 scene.
80s Wall Street Energy.

TIPS:
Focus on the character in the text prompt
Try to keep race + unique identifying features the same
Try to keep the clothing descriptors the same
From prompt-to-prompt
PROMPT STRUCTURE: [Shot Type/Camera Movement], [A young indian man in a pinstriped suit and a loose tie sharp double-breasted suit + Action], [Depth of Field], [Lighting], [Color Palette], [Mood], [Key Visual Elements]
VEO PROMPT: A low-angle shot from the perspective of an old CRT computer monitor, looking outward at a chaotic 1980s stock exchange trading floor. A young indian man in a pinstriped suit and a loose tie stands with A group of multi-racial frantic stockbrokers in sharp double-breasted suits and suspenders leaning in toward the screen, their faces twisted in shock and excitement. Green computer text reflects off their thick glasses, while some hold ticker tape slips clenched in sweaty fists. The room is packed with traders in a frenzy, papers flying, phones ringing, and stock numbers flashing on electronic boards overhead. The fluorescent lighting gives a harsh glow, casting deep shadows on their faces as they scream and point. The energy is electric—money is being made and lost in real time. 35mm style.

SEE WHAT’S GOING ON:
I always love these contests. It’s an awesome way to see what the better producers are creating in the space and how they are using the tools. I watched a number of these this weekend and was truly impressed.
Here’s a few that really caught my eye:
01. Dark → Billy Boman
02. Mistake → diesellord556
BONUS: A Star Wars fan-fiction by Kavan the Kid.
(NOT Project Odessey, but needed to be shared)
03. Star Wars → The Ghost’s Apprentice

Fully automated with tools like OpenAi/Claude/Flux/Figma
So we cut the back-and-forth time on “does this fit the brand?”
And we focus on strategy, visual firepower, and iteration.
The best part?…If we can’t do it with Ai…we have 500+ traditionally trained world-class designers…who can do it by hand.
Have a design problem that needs solving? (We like those)
It’s worth a convo (at the very minimum).
