Midjourney vs Dall-E 3

Do we have a battle on our hands?

Dall-E 3 rolled out recently and it’s definitely usable.

Q: But is it better than Midjourney?…

A: Not yet.

Here’s the thing…

Dall-E 3 is an excellent alternative to Midjourney.

Its coherence to the prompt is very good.

But it lacks the creative power of Midjourney.

Oliver stated it perfectly here…

Here’s where Dall-E 3 Wins:

• Coherence to Prompt

• Multiple [Subjects or Characters]

• Art Based Prompts

• Text Generation

• It’s FREE.

Here’s where Dall-E 3 Loses:

• Creativity.

• Lack of output control. (no parameters)

• Only produces in ar 1:1

• Minimal depth/texture.
