Version 5.3 Estimated Release:

• The anticipated rollout month is September.

Version 6 Progress:

• An initial draft of V6 is available.

• However, the final version is still in development.

• Expectations include enhanced text generation but also a deeper understanding of prompts.

• A release date is still under wraps.

New Aesthetic System + Personalization:

• At the heart of the upcoming updates is a groundbreaking aesthetic system.

• MJ wants to offer a more personalized experience…users might encounter a brief quiz that aims to tailor the platform based on their preferences. (Not 100% confirmed yet)

• The full canvas inpainting yields superior image quality.

Runway Custom Camera Control.

You can now control the motion of your videos with “Custom Camera Control.”

So, how do you use it?

Here’s the new features features:

+ Horizontal: Move the camera left/right.

+ Vertical: Move the camera up/down

+ Zoom: Move the camera in/out

+ Roll: Roll the camera left/right

+ Speed: Control the speed of the motion

Runway Process:

01. Open up Runway.ai (there’s a free trial)

02. Select “Start With An Image”

03. Upload your image

04. Select “Motion”

05. Select “Custom Camera Control”

06. Adjust the motion controls.

07. Hit Generate

Runway Actionable Tips:

1. Use close-up images for better detail.

2. Runway tends to work better with animation-style images. (Photo-quality images are starting to produce more consistently)

3. The further away the subject is from the camera…the more distorted it will be.

4. Use a lower “speed” value like (2-5) for clearer results. (You have options of 1-10)

5. Zoom In has been working more consistently for me vs. Zoom Out.

6. This is still in beta.
