We were Runway-heavy last week.

But we’re BACK on Midjourney this week.

And we’re also looking at deepfaking…yourself.

Enough chit-chat…

Here’s what we got for today:

MJ WORKFLOW: BUILDING A PSEUDO-STYLE CODE:

Style Random/Style Codes are cool, but…

I wish MJ had a feature where we could create our own style code,

(From a single generated image)

Instead of waiting…let’s just develop a workflow.

STYLE CODE ELEMENTS:

To build you own…we have to understand what goes into style codes.

Here’s my best guess:

• Artistic Style/Theme: Broad genre

• Perspective & Shot Type: Camera Viewpoint

• Foreground: Foreground description

• Midground: Midground description

• Background: Background Description

• Textures: Textural feels

• Compositional Elements: Image Construction

• Color Pallets and Tones: 2-3 Colors/tones

• Atmospheric: Mood description

• Contrast & Saturation: Visual signatures

Once we have that…we can build a prompt formula.

BUILDING PROMPTS:

Take those elements and structure them into a prompt.

Prompt Structure: [Artistic Style], [Perspective], [Subject + Position + Details], [Foreground/Background Details], [Lighting/Effects], [Contrast/Saturation], [Modifiers]

Example Prompt: cinematic, low angle shot, silhouetted sports car in the midground with smooth contours and delicate features, rippling burnt orange sand with immaculate texture in the foreground, warm pink saturated sky and silhouetted mountains in the background, heat wave effect, volumetric lighting, high contrast, deep textures --ar 4:5 --s 200 --p [code]

TIP: Use your “Personalize Code” for consistency.

RESULTS ↓

SREF + ITERATION:

Once you have a style you like…you can utilize it as an SREF.

KEEP the visual elements of the prompt (colors/textures/composition/etc)

And iterate the “Subject”.

This process requires some Midjourney chops.

DEEPFAKING YOURSELF IN > 10 MINS:

I recently gave a presentation to the Silicon Valley Security Group.

About how easy it is to deepfake yourself.

This is going to become more important as we blend reality.

The more you know about the tools…the better you can identify fakes.

PROCESS:

This might not be the best workflow…but it’s one everyone can use.

We might have to get into some ComfyUI stuff soon.

TOOLS USED:

• Midjourney → Avatar Gen

• InsightFace → Faceswap

• Magnific → Upscale

• Photoshop → Image Tuning

• Luma → Animation

The entire process becomes much easier when you can manipulate your avatar in Midjourney.

MIDJOURNEY OFFICE HOURS (7/24):

Midjourney v6.1 Update

• Release imminent, renamed from v6.5 to v6.1

• Better low-resolution image quality

• Enhanced prompt coherence and accuracy

• Slightly less diversity compared to v6.0

• Plans: Quick release to gather data for v6.2

• Developing an upscale (May delay v6.1 release if ready soon)

Website Enhancements

• Room syncing between website and Discord planned for next week

• Editor in development

Personalization Upgrades

• New version coming soon with two update options:

• Less conservative / More conservative

• Improved performance for all users

• Backward compatibility with previous personalization settings
