KLING: HOLY MOTION BRUSH.
So KLING just updated their motion brush tool.
***Spoiler alert…it’s awesome.
HERE’S A LITTLE BREAKDOWN → CHECK IT OUT
PROS:
Good for tough shots (Ex. turning cars)
Directional subject motion
Multiple subjects in motion
CONS:
Only 5s generations
Cannot extend in Kling V1.5 (1.5 is their newest version)
Oftentimes, only slow-mo
A bit scientific
MIDJOURNEY PROMPT: wide angle documentary photography, once in a lifetime photo, the human and animal co-dependence, exotic locations, vibrant award winning photography, epic scenery, photojournalism --ar 5:3 --quality 2 --p --stylize 125 --v 6.1
KLING PROMPT: the camera subtly pushes in as a young girl kisses an elephant on the head in a river, natural dynamic fluid motion of the water, cinematic style
QUICK THOUGHTS:
Use for hard-to-describe motion
Text prompts play a role
Describe the camera + subject motion
When highlighting areas…
Consider environmental movement (water/etc)
Still water..with moving subjects is weird
The directional arrows can be more complex
And it follows them pretty well
Try “more” than straight lines
Going to test this tool a lot more…stay tuned.
KLING: VIRTUAL TRY-ON
This is an interesting direction for Kling…not sure why they added this now.
But you can now add real clothes to models + generate video.
It’s a decent tool, but it has its shortcomings.
FULL REVIEW → CHECK IT OUT
QUICK THOUGHTS:
Clothes translate well to models (aesthetically)
Surprisingly fast (<1 min gen)
It nails the “basic structure” of the clothes
However, it lacks small detail consistency
Clothing dimensions are off
Ex. Dress length in vid below
More complex patterns don’t translate
Ex. “Houndstooth”
Graphic t-shirts are close but not exact
Small text will be distorted
This works better for simple items (dresses/suits)
Would use this more as a story-telling tool
For character consistency vs. a “product-shot”
AI VIDEO TOOLS: USE THEIR STRENGTHS
When it comes to the Ai Video tools…they all have their own strengths.
Different platforms can be used for different shots…(try multiple platforms)
HERE’S A BREAKDOWN → FULL POST.
TOOL STRENGTHS:
THOUGHTS:
I’ve tested Kling the least
But I’m enjoying more and more
(Working on some Kling specific stuff)
It does not have to be “one” tool loyalty
Use different tools for different shots/uses
That doesn’t help with keeping costs low
But KREA offers access to all (inc. Luma)…If you want to test each
I left Luma off the list…the quality has fallen off (Just my opinion)
